Apiam Animal Health: Revenue rises but shares fall


Shares in veterinary services company Apiam Animal Health plunged 10 per cent today after the release of revenue forecasts for the year ending June 30. In an operations update to the Australian Securities Exchange, Apiam Animal Health said it expected its 2017-18 revenue to rise 8.7 per cent to $106.5 million when it releases its full-year results in August.

A team of scholars analyzed horse remains from an ancient Mongolian pastoral culture. Examination of skeletal remains from the impressive horse burials associated with the Deer Stone-Khirigsuur Culture showed that surgical procedures were used to remove baby teeth that would have caused young horses pain or difficulty with feeding -- the world's oldest known evidence for veterinary dental care.
